Easy Full Course Meal with Pressure Cooker

Thinking of cooking something but feeling over-whelmed with the baking process? Well, there is a simple solution to that. Unlike it’s usual image, pressure cookers are assumed as the slower, less efficient appliance in the kitchen. However, that is not entirely true. Most of the our classics are made best in pressure cooker and that’s not just about it, you can try almost everything with your pressure cooker. Mac and Cheese

Who doesn’t love mac and cheese? This glorious cheesy marvel satisfies all our cheese cravings and is one of the most popular side-dishes as well. From school snack to comfort food, you can never go wrong with mac and cheese.


  • Elbow Macaroni – 454 g
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp ground mustard
  • 1 tsp sriracha sauce
  • evaporated milk (355 ml)
  • Grated cheese


Beat the two eggs, salt, pepper, sriracha sauce, ground mustard and evaporated milk in a bowl. Then, Add elbow macaroni, water and kosher salt mixture to your pressure cooker. With high pressure cooking for 4 minutes, gradually release the pressure and cook your macaroni. After it is done, keep the flame on medium/ low and mix in butter to your cooked macaroni. Pour in the mixture present in the bowl to your macaroni and mix it. Then add in grated cheese gradually to your mixture. Mix, melt and that’s it! your heavenly mac and cheese is done!.

The BBQ Style Chicken Wings

Chicken wings and a pressure cooker? Now that might sound crazy but it is possible.  This amazing dish only takes 35 minutes to prep and is super delicious. An unorthodox combo that you will find yourself trying over and over again.


Chicken wings or drumettes- 2 pounds
a Good rich BBQ Sauce- 1/2 cup


Now this 2 ingredient recipe seems easy but is a bit tricky, as it involves pressure cooking and frying later on. Firstly, select a BBQ sauce which you are sure works best for you. Then coming to the pressure cooker part, first add in 1 cup of water into the pressure cooker. After this, place in steamer basket and add chicken wings.  You will be using high pressure cooking method for almost 5 minutes and then full natural release. As you chicken cooks, and the steam releases naturally, set up your oven. Pre-heat your oven to 450 degree Fahrenheit.  Remove the chicken wings from the pressure cooker and pat dry. Make sure that it is really dry. Take a large mixing bowl, add in BBQ sauce and mix the chicken wings well. Then, place the chicken in the baking tray and bake for a good 8-15 minutes, until the sauce looks caramelized and the chicken looks glossy. Serve with fries or other side dishes. In case you wish to use a air-fryer, even that it okay, just remember to keep the temperature at 400 degree Fahrenheit.
